Participate in Our Research
The Horowitz Dog Cognition Lab is looking for dog owners who are interested in participating in a new study on dog personality this fall. Trials will include a free introduction to scent-work classes for owners and their dog(s), as well as canine cognition tests.
Participants must be able to bring their dog(s) to Barnard College's Morningside Campus (at 120th Street & Broadway) on two occasions for one-half hour, and to the Upper West Side facility, Dog Days of New York (at 97th Street & Broadway), on two occasions for a one-hour class, per your availability. Both sites can be accessed via the 1 train and M104 bus along Broadway. Participants must be willing and able to take videos of specified dog games at home over ten days and email them to the lab. All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations. All breeds, ages, and temperaments are welcome!
This study will run from November 2017 through February 2018.
Entries for participation in this study are now closed. Thank you for your interest!
